It’s a proud moment for me to have flipped the switch on my new theme for nomad-one.com. Though I’m still ironing out a few bugs and need to fix up one or 2 visual elements, my impatience has just got the better of me and I had to go live with this today.
I’m hoping you guys will get involved and let me know what you think as well as point out any kinks there might be which I have missed out.
I’ve done tests in a few of the latest browsers and all seems well, though I think I was pushing it to expect IE 4 to have a clue what to do with this layout. This theme has Small Potato’s Wrath theme as it’s basis though you would never be able to tell that at a glance. Small P still has some of the best free themes out there so I made use of his expertise as a springboard for this one.
I wanted my new theme to be based on sandbox with it’s rich semantic markup and dynamically generated classes for styling freedom.
So tell me what you think so far and if you’ve managed to find any mistakes, which I’m sure there are. A few of the links might not be working so bear with me as I patch up a few things.

omg, you finally released it!
It looks a little different from the last revision but it still looks awesome, great design!
I absolutely love it! Well done!
Wow thanks for the positive feedback dudes, if you find any bugs or things which might need tweaking don’t hesitate to point them out to me, this is very much a work in motion.
Good stuff Nomad. Although, the comments template looks a bit left out because it doesn’t have any of the grungy graphics.
wow Nur, this is awesome. it looks a little weird in Firefox and the “Recent Posts, Categories, Tags, Recent Comments” thing missing when viewed in IE7, but still looking amazing.
i’m sure you’ll iron the bugs out over time
@ SP – thanks for the complement man, I’m with you on the comment template, some leftovers from your wrath theme which need restyling, work in motion.
@ Dan – what version of Firefox you using? So weird i tested this in a number of browsers before uploading, I hate browser differences, might cause me to go gray
appreciate the comments guys
Nice one Nur!
I really, really like the final design and feel that all the tweaks (from the original versions you showed me) has paid of immensely!
Also just got your e-mail newsletter, which was a great read! Keep up the good work!
